Manager, Founder Communications and Projects
Toronto, ON, Canada
Full Time
Manager/Supervisor
Legacy+ helps founders, public figures, and institutions turn vision into measurable impact. As our work expands, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a founder‑led environment — someone who brings order to chaos, clarity to communication, and momentum to every initiative.
This role is not traditional communications or marketing.
It’s not agency leadership.
It’s not corporate comms.
This is a hands‑on operator who works directly with the Co‑Founders to manage communication, prepare for events, coordinate priorities, and keep the organization aligned.
If you love being close to the action, moving fast, and making founders more effective, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
1. Founder Operations
• Work closely with the Co‑Founders to manage priorities, commitments, and follow‑through
• Prepare briefings, talking points, and event materials
• Support founder‑led initiatives and ensure nothing slips
• Triage inbound requests and protect founder time
• Bring structure, clarity, and rhythm to a fast‑moving environment
2. Executive Communications
• Draft and refine founder communications (talking points, event scripts, memos)
• Support preparation for founder‑led events, panels, and engagements
• Ensure internal and external messaging stays aligned
• Maintain founder voice and narrative consistency
3. Cross‑Team Coordination
• Connect dots across initiatives, partners, and internal teams
• Ensure follow‑ups, deliverables, and next steps are clear
• Reduce friction and keep everyone aligned with founder priorities
4. Relationship Management
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for partners, collaborators, and advisors
• Handle sensitive communication with discretion and professionalism
• Support preparation for high‑stakes meetings and conversations
Who You Are
• Exceptionally organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented
• Calm under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity
• Emotionally intelligent and able to read the room
• A strong communicator who can write clearly and quickly
• A doer who loves being hands‑on — no task is too small
• Experienced supporting founders, executives, or high‑profile leaders
• Someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, purpose‑driven environment
Preferred Background
• Experience in founder‑led or high‑growth environments
• Experience in executive support, chief‑of‑staff‑style roles, or operations
• Exposure to philanthropy, media, advisory, or mission‑driven organizations
• Strong writing and communication skills
